Defeating our fears

She started at the bottom with a history of substance abuse and is a leading woman entrepreneur. She is a force in the cryptocurrency market and is a network marketing specialist. She believes in making the world a better place for all. This is the story Sylwia Manjlai, who talks about Healy – and how to face our fears.

Leaders: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us. I’d first like to ask a little about yourself.

I’m Polish, and I lived in the UK, but now I live in Dubai. I’m an entrepreneur, and I work with my husband selling luxury watches and diamonds as the leader in network marketing of Healy. I am one of the first women to work in cryptocurrency. I enjoy traveling because I love showing my kids the world and seeing them learn about different countries and how we can help people worldwide. I did attend university when I was younger, but I decided it wasn’t for me and dropped out. Regardless, I chose myself and my success, despite the challenges I faced.

Leaders: Yes, and one of those challenges was with drugs and alcohol. Can you tell us about it and how you overcame it?

When I was younger, I worked in the service industry. This gave me access to drugs and alcohol, and I developed a problem that threatened my life. With the help of my partner, who is now my husband, and my parents, I was clean in three years. I didn’t believe it would be possible to celebrate and live without alcohol, but now my life is better. I don’t judge people who drink, but I choose to avoid it. I don’t look at it as something painful because I won that fight. I believe others can help you, and you can live your life on your terms. I was a waitress who struggled with drugs and alcohol, but I’m now running my business while sober, and I want everyone to take inspiration from that.

Leaders: What was the lowest point in your career?

My lowest point was the beginning. My husband and I lived in one bedroom in a house with other people. We didn’t have a lot, but we always looked up. We believed in our success, we dreamed of the life we wanted, and now we’re living it. If you manifest good ideas and believe in yourself, then the planted seed will grow. You must work hard to achieve it, but you can do it without giving up. I’m blessed to have a loving and supportive husband who stayed with me and helped me reach my full potential.
